We at McLean have a long-standing belief that just because a given product may be a value-brand, doesn’t mean it should look cheap. There is no reason a consumer should feel like they are slumming, be ashamed in the checkout line, or feel bad when pulling it out at home with friends and family around. In fact, we believe that good design can reward the consumer with an even deeper level of satisfaction. Knowing how little they paid but how cool the product is just might be the ultimate equation for consumer satisfaction and brand loyalty. So when McLean was asked to re-imagine Pure Kick™, a darling of the dollar channel and Walmart, we couldn’t help but over-deliver in the design aesthetic department. 100% fresh, sporty life-style... 0% guilt.
